DDoS Attacks That Caused Chaos on Web Were ‘Sophisticated’: Dyn

Most people in the eastern United States and many in the west coast experienced an unusual event this Friday, October 21st 2016. When I tried to post on my twitter account I had no idea that a denial of service attack was in place. This is something we take for granted that our Internet service will always be available whenever we need it. A DDoS attack is a very malicious denial of Internet service that can cripple online service and affect E-Commerce and other essential services that are dependent on the Internet. How can this happen despite our sophisticated Cybersecurity in this day and age? Who is responsible and for what reason? These are important questions that need answers.
